I’m originally from Youngstown, Ohio, and currently reside in Copley, Ohio. I’ve lived in the Akron area for half of my life, so I consider Akron my adopted hometown. It’s a great place to live and work.

What gets you out of bed every day?
Working with a group of good people and talented professionals. Learning about the lives and businesses of our clients through their projects. Seeing something that once existed only on paper thrill and excite people as “their building”. That will never get old.
What excites you about the future of the profession?
New tools for design that allow us to visualize and communicate our designs almost immediately; although there was beauty and flair to the way architectural designs were created and presented in the past, today’s techniques are superior and getting better at an unbelievable pace.
What do you do in your spare time?
I am a car enthusiast and enjoy auto racing of all sorts. I also love playing golf, tennis, and watching my kids participate in track, cross country, and baseball.
What might people not know about you?
I have a guitar collection, and can play a little… just enough to annoy my wife.
What is your favorite building?
The last one I worked on.
