Kaiser Foundation of Ohio
The simulation laboratory at Kaiser’s Parma Campus includes a classroom, two state-of-the-art Simulation Rooms and a common control room. A unique open storage space allows for easy access to equipment, while promoting a clutter free simulation environment. This project utilized an existing vacated space on the Ground Floor of the main building. Hasenstab Architects provided project programming and planning, as well as completion of design services through construction for this project on the Kaiser Permanente Parma Medical Facility Campus.
The high fidelity manikins in the simulation laboratory required extensive coordination with electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems. Compressed air piping and storage in an adjacent space provides a quiet and unobtrusive medical care environment. Due to stringent project requirements, both the design and construction process were completed in a total of only four months.
