Interior DesignThis project encompasses the renovation of an existing student lobby space in The Timken Foundation Medical Design Innovation Center (MEDIC). The Timken Foundation Medical Design Innovation Center provides a space for students to collaborate and explore innovative healthcare concepts.
Hasenstab Architects provided architectural and interior design services for this renovation, which created an environment that supports students’ discovery process of identifying and validating unmet needs. The space was also designed with the flexibility to accommodate larger group meetings.
The updated MEDIC Collaboration Space provides an engaging meeting space equipped with reconfigurable seating, whiteboards, and monitors. Furniture was chosen to support multiple work styles and settings.
The lounge features distinctive design elements, including acoustical ceiling panels and lighting that serves as a striking focal point of the space.
