New President, Vice Presidents at Hasenstab Architects
Herstine, Miner, and Radcliff Assume New Leadership Roles
Hasenstab Architects is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Herstine as President, along with Brian Miner and Scott Radcliff as Vice Presidents effective May 1, 2025.
Herstine is a 1999 graduate of Kent State University’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design. With more than 33 years in the profession, and 26 years at Hasenstab Architects, Herstine has been an integral part of the firm’s growth and success and will lead the firm as it embarks on this new chapter. He specializes in health care design with a particular orientation towards behavioral healthcare. He will continue to serve clients while overseeing the firm’s three locations in Akron, Cleveland and Pittsburgh.
Miner is a 1999 graduate of Kent State University’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design. Serving as a principal at Hasenstab Architects for the past nine years, he leads both the higher education and laboratory design studios. With more than 26 years of experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to his new role.
Radcliff, a 2002 graduate of The Ohio State University and a 2004 graduate of Clemson University’s Master of Architecture + Health program, has more than 23 years of experience and eight years as a principal at Hasenstab Architects. He is a board-certified member of the American College of Healthcare Architects, and his work has been widely featured in national healthcare publications. Radcliff’s experience will be an asset to the firm’s future success.
Current President Dennis Check and Vice President Bob Medziuch, who each have provided leadership at the firm for close to 40 years, will remain on the Board of Directors and as Principals. Check, who has served as President for the past 13 years, will become Chairman of the Board while continuing to lead the K-12 Education, Municipal, and Zoo design studios. Medziuch, who has been Vice President of the firm for the past 13 years, will continue to provide leadership within Hasenstab Architects’ healthcare studio.
