Advanced Manufacturing Addition
This project encompassed a new 3,500 square foot addition to Theodore Roosevelt High School for an Advanced Manufacturing Building. Hasenstab Architects provided professional design services in collaboration with Shook Construction as part of a Design/Build partnership.
The facility supports multiple career and technical education programs, including advanced manufacturing, electronics, robotics and programming, and engineering.
Designed to provide students with hands-on learning opportunities, the building features a state-of-the-art machine shop where students engage in real-world design and manufacturing processes. The majority of the space is devoted to a fully equipped workshop, housing advanced manufacturing tools such as CNC laser cutters, 3D printers, and an end mill for precision tool creation.
Adjacent to the workshop is a dedicated classroom for instruction before and after lab sessions. Above the classroom, a mezzanine level provides ample storage space for materials and equipment.
