HA Team Discusses Sustainable Design at DesignColumbus
Hasenstab Architects team members Brian Miner and Amber Duco teamed up with Jeremy Bowers from Karpinski Engineering to present on sustainable architecture at this year’s DesignColumbus conference.
In their session, “Case Study from a New University Research Building in Wooster, OH,” they discussed how the design team for the recently completed OSU Wooster Science Building was able to reach LEED certification. The new 60,000 square foot research building located on a rural campus tested the design team, the University and the Construction Manager to make the right choices to create a sustainable design while not compromising the budget to do so.
